Question: You ran an item that said David Hasselhoff is married to Pamela Bach. What happened to his first wife, actress Catherine Hickland? -Tess Foley, Arlington, Tex.

Answer: When her 1984-1988 marriage to Hasselhoff ended, Hickland moved to Rome. Since her return to the U.S. in 1990, she has worked on Broadway in Les Miserables and on several soap operas, including her current gig on One Life to Live. A former makeup artist, Hickland, 44, also launched catcosmetics.com, her own product line. She's now married to Michael E. Knight, 41, who plays Tad on All My Children. Coincidentally, David Hasselhoff's character on TV's Knight Rider was named Michael Knight.
