Catherine Hickland Bites the Dust

Look for Catherine Hickland in “The Horn of Plenty” season opener of the CBS series “Airwolf,” co-starring with Jan Michael Vincent as Anjelica, who hires Wolf to transport a fortune in jewels for her and her father (Richard Lynch) and ends up falling in love with Wolf. The episode was shot as show #4 of the series but was re-scheduled to season premiere when the producers saw the finished show.

When Catherine was first told that she was wanted for an “Airwolf,” she said, “Great!”, when she was told that she would be a co-star with Jan Michael Vincent, she said, “Book it!”, and when she was told she would be Vincent’s love interest she said, “I’ll take it!”, but “what they never told me,” says Hickland, “was that I would be running around in the desert playing tag with a helicopter and eating sand for two weeks, but it was worth it, I loved doing the show!”
