ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) stopped watching THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS because one of her favorite actors left the show.

REALITY: In the book Soap Stars, OLTL’s Hickland said that she was a big fan of Y&R’s leading man, William Gray Espy (ex-Snapper). “I had actually stopped watching the show for a long time when [he left],” Hickland told the tome’s author. Ironically, Hickland later married Espy’s Y&R replacement, David Hasselhoff! Today, the actress is happily wed to AMC’s Michael E. Knight (Tad).
