Facing the Truth

During her show business career, Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) has spied her fair share of bad plastic surgery. Determined to educate people before they go under the knife, she has teamed with Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Garth Fisher (from ABC’s EXTREME MAKEOVER) to host “The Naked Truth About Plastic Surgery,” a series of informational videos for those considering cosmetic procedures. “It’s a labor of love for me, because in my work I see so many women do things they regret, and they always say the same thing: they didn’t know,” Hickland explains. “This video shows you what the procedures look like, what the risks are, what questions to ask and how to choose a doctor.” Hickland also will appear in an infomercial for the tapes (which can be purchased at www.nakedtruth.com). “25 million people went in for consultation on plastic surgery last year,” the actress notes. “If people are considering doing something so radical, it’s important that they be armed with the knowledge.”
