Question: I would appreciate it if you could find out what hair products are used on Catherine Hickland (Lindsay, ONE LIFE TO LIVE). She always looks so perfect and her hair is so very shiny. And thank you for letting everyone know about her makeup line!

Hickland tells us that the most important thing in making her hair look so shiny and healthy is that she switches products often. “Don’t stay on one shampoo and cream rinse for too long because your hair gets used to it and then it won’t do anything,” advises Hickland. “I have a couple of favorites that I rotate. One line is kind of expensive, the other is inexpensive. I alternate between Deesse’s shampoo and their Fluffy Feel conditioner – if you have color-treated hair, their products are fantastic – and a brand new line called Progaine, which makes shampoo and a cream rinse that is great if you have fine hair. Progaine is a wonderful, very inexpensive brand that you can actually buy in the drug stores. Deesse’s is a very hard product to find; it’s from Japan. But it’s sold on beautyexotica.com. So, I alternate between those two brands.” Deesse’s shampoo sells for $15.95 and their Fluffy Feel conditioner for $29.95; Progaine products retail for $5.99 at most drugstores.
