All Dogs Go To Hickland

The love that Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) has for her animals seemingly knows no bounds. Take, for instance, the time that she purchased one right on the street. “I did buy a German Shepherd puppy off of a homeless man,” she admits. “It was clear that she was stolen because she was a purebred.” Stuck in the pouring rain, Hickland decided to take the dog up to the studio. “I tried to find the owner,” remembers the star, “But couldn’t, so the dog went up for adoption in my dressing room!” For the actress, this kind of behavior isn’t all that unusual. “That’s just the way it is,” she happily points out. “The animals find me.” So, we wonder, is this why she’s known to always have so many pets? “The reason I have so many,” she giggles, “is because some of them I just can’t part with.”
