A recent trip to Italy was more than a European vacation for Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) and hubby Michael E. Knight (Tad, ALL MY CHILDREN). "It was a honeymoon," says the actress, who explains that the couple never had an official post-wedding jaunt after their 1992 nuptials. "We walked a lot, we slept a lot, and we ate a lot--it was fabulous." Over a decade ago, Hickland lived in Italy for two years, so the trip gave her a chance to catch up with old friends. "I hadn't been back for 10 years, and Michael had never been there, so it was a special trip for us to make together." The couple spent the entire time in the capital city of Rome, where "we saw everything," the actress continues. "We visited the Forum, the Colosseum, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, which were all amazing." Hickland also took part in the ultimate Italian adventure: its world-famous cuisine. "I ate myself through the entire country," she quips. "It's not every day that I can eat like that, so I said, 'The heck with it,' and enjoyed myself--which is what we have to do in this life."
