All working moms have daycare concerns, and Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) is no exception – even though her “kids” are of the four-legged variety. “It’s really hard to leave my animals,” says the actress, who with husband Michael E. Knight (Tad, ALL MY CHILDREN) houses three dogs and five cats in their Manhattan apartment. “Even though going on vacation is tough, because there just aren’t enough places that will let us take eight pets in a hotel, and I just never had anyone I trusted to leave them with.” That is, until her new housekeeper, Amy, arrived on the scene. “I shouldn’t call her a housekeeper, she’s so much more than that. She’s my “domestic engineer,” says Hickland. “She does a tremendous job and the animals just love her. So now we can finally take our first vacation in a long time.”
