Working full time on OLTL and running her successful makeup company, Cat Cosmetics, doesn’t leave Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) with a lot of downtime. But the actress made sure to fit in a screening of the summer blockbuster movie Pirates of the Carribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Sure, Hickland loves a good film yarn, but this picture had a special significance for her. “I was really honored because Ve Neill, who is my idol and a two-time Oscar-winning makeup artist, called [Cat Cosmetics] to supply the makeup for the film!” she explains. “At the time, I didn’t know what the movie was, but now it’s a big deal.” The movie, which stars Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush, hit theatres on July 9, and Hickland is thrilled to be a part of such a grand production. “I’m very excited that they wanted to buy my cosmetics,” she concludes. “I’m just thrilled.”
