Time After Time

As an actress, makeup mogul and author – to name just a few of her vocations – ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) has her hands full. So how does she juggle all her careers and ideas? “What happens in goal setting is outlining the principles of goals and achieving,” says Hickland, who credits taking small steps instead of giant leaps. “You can get overwhelmed by the big picture.” She also suggests nixing any notions of procrastination. “That could cause you to be anxious when you don’t do something that you want and should do. You don’t have to make time; it comes to you. Developing ideas is easy when you have a mind that works that way. You do it when you’re waiting in line at the bank. You think of things and then it’s just a matter of executing. It’s not really hard once you know how to do it.”
