Have you ever wondered how a soap star decides what to wear to a formal soiree or to an afternoon lunch with friends? Well, wonder no more! ABC Soaps In Depth poses your most-asked questions to one of daytime’s best-dressed women, OLTL’s Catherine Hickland (Lindsay).

Where She Shops: “My favorite place in the whole world is Zara International. They do knock-offs of most of the big designers for really incredible prices, and because it is from Spain, they are really far ahead of the game as far as what the fashions are going to be.”

On How She Decides What To Wear: “You never see me in the fashion pages because I don’t think about it until 10 minutes before I walk out the door! That is one thing about myself that drives me crazy!

On Ups And Downs: “Sometimes I will be skinny, and other times I’ll be seven pounds over what I should be and I won’t be able to get into a really great outfit that I love. Then I feel bad about myself, like every other woman in the world.”

On Cutting Back On Shopping: “I used to spend more money on clothes than I do now. But then after I started my own company [Cat Cosmetics], I realized I just couldn’t afford to do that anymore!”
