A Minute of Your Time, Please!

What was the last gift you bought yourself?
A new Mac Book Pro. It’s great for writing and whatever else you want to do on a computer. I am a computer geek and proud of it!

How do you relax?
I write to relax, and I usually do that at five and six in the morning after meditating and prayer time.

What was the last song you caught yourself singing in the shower?
“People.” I sound like Barbra Streisand in the shower. In reality…Not so much! (Laughs). I always sing in the shower.

What is your idea of paradise?
My idea of paradise is inner peace. My second idea of paradise is anywhere I am near ocean and sand and a good book.

Who would you most like to meet?
I would like to meet Joel Olsteen. He is a great inspiration to me.

What was your favorite television show when you were a kid?
My favorite show was THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES. I grew up in that same kind of situation. My grandmother rode a John Deere tractor to cut the lawn even though we lived in a well-to-do neighborhood. My friends were embarrassed for me, but I didn’t give a hoot. She refused to let a gardener cut the lawn. She was a farm woman and that was that. God, I loved that woman. What an original.
