The Big Crush

You might think that a stunning woman like Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) would go for any man she found cute, but even beauties gaze from afar. “I used to have a really big crush on Kurt Russell and Jan-Michael Vincent,” she reveals. “They were both Disney movie stars at the time. I thought they were gorgeous.” As fate would have it, the actress worked with Vincent on his primetime series, AIRWOLF, which she says was a bit weird, given how she’d admired him from afar. As for Russell, Hickland actually met him…in a bank! “He was waiting in line, and I went up to him and said, ‘Do you realize that all through high school, I [liked] a boy because he looked like you?’” Her crush on Russell was so strong that the look-alike had to share his name. “I called him Kurt,” Hickland laughs, “and to this day, I can’t remember his real name.”
