The Winning-Challenged
Help Wanted: Lindsay Rappaport
Hard-Luck Case: If Lindsay has troubles, trust that they're all personally created. Nora has been her main target, but Lindsay keeps hitting herself instead--e.g. fiddling with Bo's DNA tests so he would think Nora's baby was his backfired and got her dumped at the altar; convincing Colin to hold an injured Nora captive led to Lindsay's jabbing her memory-erasing drug--thus adding to her current woes. Colin's twin, Troy, recently bedded her for the sole reason of finding out Lindsay's role in Nora's kidnapping. In life and love, Lindsay keeps coming up snake eyes.
Problem-Solving With Catherine Hickland (Lindsay)
Lindsay never gets caught, yet everyone still knows what she does. "She's good at getting away with stuff, but not a blessed good thing has happened to this girl in too long. I don't think that's going to change."
Is she in a rut? "She's in the ditch!"
And she slept with Troy, who doesn't care for her at all. "Troy is romancing the stone, as we say. As we know, he doesn't really mean it. It's going to be a sad day when he finds out."
Does Lindsay think that she's savvy enough that she wouldn't get duped? "Yeah, she does, but everybody has a point where they let their guard down. She opens the door a crack, he swings the door wide open. And he's good at it. You'll forgive anybody anything if they look like he does."
Is there one area of Lindsay's life where she is successful? "She doesn't take s--- off of people. She totally knows how to fend for herself. So, as utterly pathetic as she seems sometimes, you have to look at the independence of her. Truth is, she really is lovable, but she never lets anybody see that part. It's so hard when someone won't let you love them. And she is that way--she self-sabotages."
