Product Queen
Hello, beauties! I’m back! You may think I have been off resting on my haunches, but no, I have been diligently buying and trying for a whole new year of – what else? – smokin’ beauty.
Oh, girls, I have felt the burn. As you know, being savvy shoppers, some of ‘em work, some of ‘em don’t. What people write to me about most – and have the hardest time with – is their hair (they want more of it) or dry, tortured skin (they want less of it). So, let’s get to it!
If your skin is drier than the Mojave Desert and you are starting to see some serious lines on your face or neck and chest area, this Bud’s for you. There is a product out there called Dremu Oil. Like the name says, it’s an oil, so this is mainly for the cracked and the beautiful, as it’s unbelievably rehydrating, as well as collagen-stimulating and line-smoothing. It’s reported to also have healing agents for razor burns or chapped skin. On the Product Queen scale of you-only-need-a-little-so-it’s-worth-it, it’s a true value. Sometimes when I travel, it’s the only one I take just to keep it simple.
On the subject of hair, the concern I hear most is that people are losing theirs. “Oh My Gawd! It’s thinning,” your screaming. I hear you! I have ingested and written about everything from fish pills from Finland to Ojon nut oil from Africa in my quest for healthy, shiny hair. Then, out of the mouth of a customer comes Folicure for fuller, thicker hair. Try Folicure Extra Shampoo, Moisturizing Conditioner and Formula For Fine Or Thinning Hair ampules. Dee Anna, who is a product junkie herself, sent me Folicure for Christmas because she was just so thrilled with the results. I thought, “Why not?” And hey, this stuff really worked on me! She warned me that my hair might grow so fast that I’d have to contend with the baby hairs sprouting up like a Chia Pet. She wasn’t kidding! And how do I know? I needed to grow my hair out after a most unfortunate cut a few months ago. (I cheated on my hairdresser; there will be no more of that! Jason, I’m sorry!) The whole line is really affordable [at around $5 per product], considering how effective it is and what other systems like it can cost that are just “eh.” Eh is not the goal. Products that work are.
Oh, how I’ve missed you!
