Product Queen

Hello, my sweet and cherished beauties. As I write this, I am giving each and every one of you a gigantic, warm, fuzzy, cosmic hug. We all need to be extra loved right now wit the world feeling so fragile to us. But you know what? Now more than ever, we need to buck up, take a deep breath, put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward! If watching the news makes you crazy, turn it off and do something you enjoy that will keep your mind in a good place. Spread some love and watch what happens. I’ve been loving people up more than usual and making time to –gasp!—have some fun, even if it means I’ll be tired the next day. What the hell? Someone once told me that faith is the opposite of fear, and you can’t practice both at the same time. That works for me!

That being said, I’ve been taking more baths and soaks than usual, and so I’ve been searching for new aromatherapy and oil-based bath products that make me feel great.

I found this unbelievable company out of Steamboat Springs, CO called Little Moon Essentials that is owned by a girl who was a Broadway performer but decided to cash it all in and move from New York City to a sleep little town to find her joy. I have not met her, but after receiving her products I’d sure like to. They are all handmade, which means they are super fresh, and believe me, when you open each jar, the aroma from the mixture of the flowers, oils and salts cures whatever ails ya.

I ordered the products that described my feelings the best (how can you not buy something called Tired Old Ass Soak?!), but honestly, I loved them all. I am listing my favorites. One of the bath salts (Relax) has lavender flower petals and rosebuds in it, so be warned that you will have to clean the tub out after you’re done. But come on. It’s worth it! A hot bath with rose petals and herbs and oils floating around you? You’re only going to get that at a spa! And geez, who has the time for that?

Chocolat Cocoa Bath salts are for those who would love cocoa-scented waters. Gimme a Break salts are for workaholics (Phone call for Miss Hickland…Paging Miss Hickland”). There is also a salve calling Aching Head Rub, which I love because I get some whopper headaches and it helped me. I love the Web site, so go see it.

Love yourself up a little!
