Real-Life Marital Mishaps

Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) and Michael E. Knight's (Tad, AMC) nups were a piece of cake--sort of. "We got married in Malibu, outside," remembers Hickland. "After the ceremony, we had a cocktail hour, so I just wandered over to look at the cake because I had had a very special cake made. Instead of wedding people, we had little animals [kissing], because both of us love animals. So when I walked over to see it, [I realized] they sent me someone else's wedding cake who was getting married on the same day. I was just freaking out. Someone had my cake, and they were probably saying, 'Why are all these animals on my cake?' Luckily, we were able to get the cakes switched in time."
