First of all, joy to you all!

I’ve been reading a lot of amazing books lately, and though I know they aren’t “beauty products” per se, they make us beautiful from the inside out. I’ve been on a lecture tour, talking to hundreds, even thousands of women all across the country, and the common thread I find is that most people want to make serious changes in their lives – they just don’t know what or how. For this reason, I would like to recommend two books that are fascinating jumpstarts to that gateway: The Unmistakable Touch of Grace by Cheryl Richardson, and When God Winks by Squire D. Rushnell.

I have always believed that things happen for a reason. We can change the way we look at things, and by doing so, change the course of our lives and the direction that they take us. Even knowing this, these books opened my eyes to new techniques that I know will make learning how to do this for you quite simple. Remember that every great journey begins with one single step. Okay, ‘nuff said! On to beauty products! I found a new mascara that I am just wack-a-doodle about. It’s made by Bare Escentuals and it’s fascinating because it’s a brushless wand. I had seen these in other lines before, but they didn’t work like this one. I love it because it gets every last little or long eyelash you have. It’s called Magic Wand Brushless Mascara. Black, of course! The formula is fantastic, and it makes the lashes look great, not spidery.

Another really nice find is a hand cream that is making a difference for me – and I have rough hands! Olay Body Quench Rapid Repair Hand Lotion is a miracle-working product. It was featured on OPRAH, so it’s been kind of hard to find, but I think they have it under control now, so give it your best shot. This one sinks in and continues working.
