Soaps' Most Beautiful Women
How did you react to learning you were named one of soaps’ most beautiful women for the second time? “I cried. I’m so flattered. I only know what I am on the inside, so when you get judged by what you are on the outside and someone says something so nice, it’s very touching, to say the least.”
Did you always nurture your looks? “I quit smoking a year ago, which is the best thing I ever did. Honest to God, I try not to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror, which has been good for my spirit and soul. I think the less time you spend looking at yourself, the kinder you are with yourself. So, I spend a couple minutes putting on my makeup and that’s it.”
Would you change anything about yourself. “Oh, sure. I’d love to be taller, but I’m not, and I don’t pick myself apart because of it.”
Do you have a favorite article of clothing? “My blue jeans. I feel great when I have on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. I love that.”
What is your exercise routine? “I’m a New Yorker and I walk everywhere. I also like Pilates. The next goal in my life is to really get my body physically fit. First, I want to get lean, then I want to get mean [laughs]. I want to get my body in prance-worthy shape. I want to put on my little, mesh butt-thongs and be prance-worthy [laughs]. Because when a woman feels good in her underwear, what else do you need?
Who do you think is the most beautiful celebrity? “A woman who I think is just breathtaking is Christine Brinkley. She was at 18 and is to this day, for me, the hallmark of an all-American beauty.”
