Product Queen

More and more readers are wanting to know about perfume. Personally, I am a big member of the less-is-more club as far as scents go, but if it's light, clean and sexy that you're after, I have found one that is just stunning. I put this stuff on in the store, and I immediately asked myself out on a date. It's that good!

It's called Eau du Jour and is made by Frederick Fekkai, who is a famous hairdresser here in New York City. He is half-French, half-something else and all gorgeous with the talent of Edward Scissorhands. (I mean that as a compliment-he's the only haircutter I know who has the talent to back up what he charges.) And, does the man know perfume! This is practically all I wear now. It's kind of citrusy, but sexy and very light, so men are really attracted to it. Not that you should pick something out just to attract a man…but you don't want him to run screaming into the forest, either.

If you happen to be in the market for a beautiful tinted moisturizer, Revlon just came out with Skinlights. I bought one in the drugstore on a lark (I use Peach Light 03 because it brightens nearly all skin types), and I must say it is lovely. Bear in mind, this product has zero coverage. It is only good for adding a little glow to the puss.

I also found a great eye cream created and sold by a wonderful lady named Elizabeth Grant in Canada. I am a big La Prairie fan, but baby, this rivals it and the price is right. It's a fabulous under-eye moisturizer called Torricelumn Anti Aging Eye Refiner Pur. The main ingredient is Torricelumn, a miracle compound that is described as a "plastic surgeon in a bottle." (That certainly got my attention!) It's an ingredient that is exceptionally rich in moisture and acts as a hydration booster, hydrating the skin 87 percent on application! She has a Web site (www.elizabethgrant.com) that lists information and pricing; it's incredibly reasonable. I'm all for getting a bang out of my buck, but it has to be great and this is. (By the way, Elizabeth Grant is 80 years old and she is gorgeous! I don't know her, but I can tell by looking at her picture and seeing her on TV that this is a woman who's owning her beauty.) I love ordering by phone or on the Net, as I have less and less time to shop these days. I love it when the postman brings me my "surprises."

Okay, that's it for this month. As hubby Michael Knight (Tad, AMC) says, I'm Product Queen. I use my powers for Good, not Evil.

See ya next time!
