ANIMAL MAGNETISM: Animal lover and cosmetics creator Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) has come up with a way to combine her passions: Her company, Cat Cosmetics, is producing an “Adopt Me” makeup kit; the majority of proceeds will benefit the New York City Animal Haven Shelter and Sanctuary. “I’ve been owned by many pets over the years,” says Hickland, who has five cats and three dogs. “The ‘Adopt Me’ kit is the perfect way for me to marry my love of animals with my passion for the beauty care industry, while allowing people across the country to celebrate with me the difference they’ve made in the life of an animal.” For more on a Cat contest in which people will have a chance to name one of the shades after their rescued pet, head to www.catcosmetics.com or www.animalhavenshelter.com.
