"I moved away from New York--and a really bad relationship that had been going on and off for six years--and went to Los Angeles," recalls Michael. "So I arrived in L.A. as a bachelor, and it's time to date, and of course, the first thing I did was walk into a birthday party where I met my wife. We've been together ever since. I married Catherine because she's the easiest person to spend time with that I've ever known--and she's a good friend," he adds. "She's really 'up' and very positive, whereas I'm moody as hell. I feel sorry for her, she got the short end of the stick. Despite all the planning--and the what-the-hell-am-I-doing type of thing--getting married was one of the easiest things I've ever done. Catherine's an absolute sweetheart, and I'm very proud of her. I fell in love with and married the nicest woman I've ever met. I love married life. It's made me a happier person."
