A Pain in the Pocketbook

Ever since Catherine Hickland's (Tess) father passed away seven years ago, she hasn't been able to find a good dentist. "He was my dentist, and he was the best," she states emphatically. But now she's found someone who's a close runner-up; Julia Barr's (Brooke, AMC) husband Richard Hirschlag, who she met at a party. "I started telling him all my dental woes because I've been having severe problems with one of my molars. And he said, 'I'd like to be able to take a shot at it,'" reveals Catherine, who now makes regular treks to Richard's office in New Jersey. "He's the youngest, hippest, most talented doctor ever," she enthuses, "but the car expense is costing me more than the doctor bills!"
