About My Character

"Lindsay is attracted to Bo for so many different reasons. He is just such a good person, he's so handsome and caring, and even though he's a Buchanan, he acts like a normal person. She's watched him for a while and she knows the kind of love that he is capable of giving someone, because she has seen him with Nora. Basically, Bo is all she's ever wanted in a man, but she doesn't know how to go about getting him.

Lindsay is so dysfunctional, she always does the wrong thing, even if she has good intentions. She's someone who doesn't have anything really good going on in her life, and Sam's rejection of her made her very neurotic. She's having a lot of trouble getting over that because Sam was the first man she ever loved - and he was the love of her life.

As far as Bo's feelings for Nora go, I don't think he's over her yet. Lindsay, however, just can't stand the sight of her. I doubt she would do anything to harm Nora physically, but Lindsay looks at Nora as the sole reason why her life is such a mess. Seeing Nora makes her physically sick."

Sidebar - A One Woman Show Although Lindsay has yet to break out in song, Catherine Hickland has a voice that just won't quit. The actress recently completed a well-received one-woman cabaret show at Manhattan's China Club. "It was a lot of work, but it was worth it - I had a great time," she says of the gig that was attended by most of her One Life to Live castmates, as well as her husband, All My Children star Michael E. Knight (Tad). With that show put to bed, Hickland has already started working on the next one, which she plans to debut this year.
