Hey, Aren't You...

Being recognized at the wrong moment always cracks me up. For instance, once I had an intense argument with my husband Michael (Tad on ALL MY CHILDREN), and I'm sitting in the back of a restaurant crying my eyes out, mascara running down my face, and of course, someone came up and asked me for my autograph. Wiping my eyes,m I said, "Oh, sure," and signed for her!

Another time, I remember getting my ego knocked down a peg when I was sitting in a restaurant and a woman came up to me and said, "Can I ask you a question?" And I'm thinking, Of course, I'll give you an autograph, babe. Hey, anything you want. Yes, of course it's me. Then she says, "Where did you get that sweater?" Oh my gosh, I thought, she doesn't recognize me at all! What a perfect blow to my ego!
