She'll Huff and She'll Puff

Catherine Hickland is the first to admit that she's not a jock, but she appreciates the hard work that goes into being an athlete. "I admire them because I know it's their personal best and it's a life-long dream -- and I'm all about that. I'm also about sheer hard work, pure tenacity, not giving up and believing in yourself. I love the spirit of that."

Although Hickland will probably never be an Olympic figure skater (her favorite Winter Olympic sport), she is getting in shape nonetheless. "I'm actually taking up running for the first time in my life, in my 40s. I got up the last couple of mornings and gave it a try, in Central Park, a quarter of a mile, huff, huff, huff," she says with a laugh. "But don't worry, I'll get there."
