Lindsay: Since Lindsay and Rex have inexplicably cooled, Catherine Hickland has gone from the frying pan to the back burner. Her lack of airtime started a rumor that she was taken off contract. When someone at the fan luncheon expressed their dismay at this “news” Hickland joked, ‘Gosh, I had a contract yesterday when I left work. I am still under contract. I don’t know if I’m leaving the show. The answer to that today would be no. If I do, all I ask is that there is much gnashing of teeth and crying bitterly on your part!”
