Want to know what the hottest cosmetics trends will be this fall? One Life to Live star Catherine Hickland is happy to share her beauty secrets with Star readers.
Former makeup artist Catherine, 46, who plays Lindsay on the ABC soap, began her own company, Cat Cosmetics, two years ago.
“Women can look great at any age with the right makeup,” she says in an exclusive interview. “I love helping women look their best.”
Here are Catherine’s top tips:
A flawless face. “Use a cream foundation to lightly cover imperfections and even skin tone.”
Use brown and gold bronzers. “It won’t look as harsh as one that has too much orange in it. Blushes with peach tones are the most attractive.”
Don’t forget the lip gloss. “The right ones can brighten the face immediately. High-shine glosses are really in.”
Smoky eyes are hot! “You can’t go wrong with earthy colors like taupe. I recommend a soft-to-medium dark-brown eye pencil.”
Mascara is your best friend. “Get a good curling formula and put on two coats. What a difference it makes!”
